🌪️ Wind, Wood, & a Whole Lot of Fun at Texas Roadhouse “Hop & Shop” in Weatherford

Monday evening was one for the books over here at Getz It Done Studio.

We had the chance to be part of the Texas Roadhouse “Hop & Shop” event in Weatherford , and let’s just say… it was equal parts craft fair and survival challenge. 😅

First off — a huge thank you to Texas Roadhouse for hosting such a fun and well-organized event. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was fantastic, and the turnout made it an awesome night for local small businesses.

🪵 Cutting Boards Stole the Show

We brought a full lineup of our laser engraved cutting boards , and y’all did not disappoint.

From thoughtful gifts to everyday kitchen pieces, we sold a bunch of boards and had some great conversations about custom designs and future projects. Getting to meet customers face-to-face and talk about handmade products is hands-down one of the best parts of what we do.

💨 The Wind Had Other Plans…

Now… let’s address the elephant in the parking lot — the wind.

If you’ve ever set up a vendor tent in Texas, you already know: this wasn’t just a breeze… this was a full-on personality.

  • The tent tried to make a run for it
  • The weights earned every ounce of their paycheck
  • And we definitely got our steps in chasing things down

At one point, it felt like we were hosting a booth and competing in an outdoor obstacle course.

But hey — the tent stayed (mostly), nothing flew into traffic, and we’re counting that as a victory.

❤️ The Best Part — The People

Wind aside, the real highlight of the night was getting to connect with everyone who stopped by.

Whether you picked up a cutting board, asked about custom work, or just came over to chat — we truly appreciate you. Supporting small businesses means everything, and we don’t take that for granted.

🙌 Big Thanks & Until Next Time

We’re incredibly grateful to Texas Roadhouse Weatherford for putting on the “Hop & Shop” and giving local makers a chance to showcase what we love to create.

And to everyone who came out — thank you for braving the Texas wind with us!

We’ll definitely be back… maybe with a few extra sandbags next time. 😉

P.S. If you grabbed one of our cutting boards, we’d love to see it in action — tag us on social media and show it off!
